Revisiting

a corner

of my real

world –cryptic

 to sight

what  does it

 hide ?

Each  knick knack

a  geisha , leading me

on

I swim  through

sensuous

voyeurist

to the best ,

memories

 cast aside ,

memories

 pushed inside

memories –forgotten

but nothing

 to hide.

An old scarf

that I  missed

lying there

forgotten ,

one which has

 lipstick smears

from hasty

kisses that

we have  shared

just before

stuffed turkey

with family.

A brooch once

 unfastened

thrown aside

 hastily;

memories

 enticing

seductive,

roping me

 in

as I pin

you

to  my wrap –around

a brooch of a memory

holding me

enthralled as

I light

candles to

  memories  -

mid-afternoon

light lending

fragrance to

my this day ;

melting it

into the

silver moon .
